The aim of the course (2 years) is to train professional figures able to approach all phases of manufacturing a piece of clothing, being aware of all technical possibilities and able to manage an innovative finishing of the products.

During the Industrial Manufacturing course, students acquire all technical skills needed to assemble autonomously womenswear garments including specific features and details, by using appropriate industrial machinery and by recognizing the most suitable processing for every single type of garment.
The Industrial Manufacturing Course teaches how to manufacture detached parts which are part of a garment and how to assemble them following the standard procedures, dynamics and timetables related to mass-production in a company.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE

Students will receive teaching handouts of the course.
Tailor’s dummies and industrial equipment will be also available during the course.

2) NON EU Citizens: a passport copy and a Student Visa; n. 1 digital passport photo; a copy of the Social Security Number (SSN) / Tax Code.

Womenswear Manufacturing
Machinery training;
placing the paper pattern on fabric and quantification of the needed fabric;
marking and cutting methods;
manufacturing of detached parts;
production of clothing samples, meeting the industrial sewing – system requirements:
skirt, pants, jacket.
